At New Fashion Pork, worker safety is priority. In 2016, NFP started a program to improve worker safety. The Leading Indicators Program encourages employees to make suggestions or fix hazards before they become a problem on the farm. Safety committees and consistent training give the employees the ability to make their company a safer place. The results are proving the success of the program.
