Paislee’s Pigs

We have a story we want to share with you that we hope will warm your heart as much as it has ours. It’s about an 8-year-old girl, Paislee, who loves pigs as much as we do. We got to know Paislee a little better at the Jackson County Fair. New Fashion Pork had 2 adorable little pigs at the petting barn. Paislee walked through the barn with her family and spotted the pigs. She had talked to her mom about wanting pigs for quite a while but had been content with her pony and calves. During the fair, NFP sponsors a night of racing at the Jackson Motorplex. They invite their employees and families to enjoy a night at the races. This is where Meg Freking learned of Paislee's dream of having pigs. She and Paislee had a good conversation about the pigs and what it takes to care for them.  Before the evening ended, Meg asked Paislee if she would like to take the pigs home after the fair was over. Needless to say, Meg made a little girl very happy! Paislee’s been taking good care of the pigs, feeding, and watering them herself. As you can tell by the pictures, she’s doing a great job!
